Is this a hybrid graphics system? What is your hardware? Are you trying to use PRIME, or are you just flailing with random packages and commands? Now you say you've installed both the intel and nouveau drivers. Then you gave out just a little more information about things that had gone wrong before - but not enough information for us to understand. When asked if you were running a very old kernel or hadn't updated, you went off on a different tangent and didn't answer the question (maybe that xorg log isn't even the current one - we don't know). In your first post you reported an "error (1)" but when you posted the log, that's not there - there is a different error.
